Historic Sidmouth Beach

This pretty Georgian town has a genteel feel to it with an attractive promenade flanked by hotels. Sidmouth is the gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site.

It beach has two sides to it, one a pebble beach in front of the main town, and the other to the West. Jacobs Ladder is a mixture of sand and shingle.

Great for families especially at low tide when the sandy area is ore exposed, it’s perfect for anyone wishing to explore the rockpools. Sidmouth offers stunning views of the coastline in both directions
