Free Indoor Heated Covered Pool

Our large swimming pool is covered by an amazing retractable enclosure. This means you can enjoy the pool from April until the end of October regardless of what the weather may be doing. The pool is heated and surrounded by a lovely patio area – ideal for a day by the pool or to cool off after a day out sightseeing.

Use of the pool is free for all our customers and there is no need to book. Please note we do not have a life guard on duty so children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult when swimming and no-one is allowed to swim alone. Open from 8am until 7pm or dusk in September and October.

Over looking the swimming pool (and part of the bar area in the evening) is a large conservatory. This is available for use during the day as a place to relax and watch the swimmers.

The Ploughman's Bar - Bar, Restaurant & Takeaway

You can enjoy a quiet evening drink and an evening meal in our friendly Bar, which is open Friday and Saturday nights throughout the season and daily in the school summer holidays.

The restaurant and takeaway service is a great option after a busy day, serving good quality burgers, pizzas and fish and chips and home made specials cooked to order. The takeaway is open in the evenings until 9pm daily from mid July to the end of the school holidays and over Bank Holidays weekends.

For more details of weekly opening times and summer entertainment look on our  Ploughman’s Bar page or Facebook.

Please note that as we are not a large park, the bar and takeaway are not open midweek i.e. Sunday – Thursday,  outside the summer school holidays.  Please call us to check opening times to avoid disappointment.

Adventure Play Area & Playing Field

Outside for the younger children there is an enclosed adventure play park,  shaded by a mature oak tree and with a safe bark surface there are swings, a playhouse with a slide and a climbing frame.  It is situated opposite outdoor seating area of the the bar / cafe which means you can enjoy a drink or snack whilst watching your children play.

For the older children and the young at heart we have a playing field for football and other outdoor games.  This is the only area we permit ball games.

There is an outdoor table tennis table, bats and balls available from reception.

Games Room

At Andrewshayes the relaxed and safe atmosphere allows children the freedom to play around the park and they soon make new friends.

Our Games Room facility is well received by all ages.  This is situated next to our reception for indoor play, there are various video machines, air hockey and a pool table for the older children.

Toddler Play Room

In the same building as the Games Room there is a separate small soft play room to help keep the little ones happy (suitable for children 6 and under who must be supervised). There are also some toddler toys and books to enjoy.
