Andrewshayes is a friendly family run park that park offers new and used holiday homes at sensible prices to suit a range of budgets. There’s no hard sell here, we encourage you to come an look around and ask plenty of questions.
The park is open for owners from 1st March to 7th January and accommodates seventy five luxury, fully serviced static holiday homes set amongst maturing trees. The majority are privately owned which means owners often make new friends with other regular visitors.
An agreement for the number of years (seasons) the caravan has left on the park is clearly shown. We ensure outgoings are kept to a minimum (see costs) and we do not have lots of rules and regulations.
Owning a holiday home at Andrewshayes is a great way to enjoy holidays with family and friends. Many of our owners and their families have been coming to Andrewshayes for years and many have upgraded from a touring caravan.
The park is within easy reach of the M5 (just 20 miles away at Taunton) making us just over an hour’s drive from Bristol and just 6 miles from the A303, another key route to the West Country. This means that many of our home owners take advantage of weekends and short breaks at Andrewshayes to make the most of their country escape.
Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and just 15 minutes drive inland from the Jurassic Coast near Lyme Regis, we offer easy access to all the delights of the West Country.
The park is ideally situated with many towns, beaches, delightful villages, country inns and walking opportunities within easy reach and just waiting to be found.Once here you can reach Dartmoor to the West, Weymouth to the East or Exmoor to the North in an hour. It’s the perfect spot to explore a huge area of the South West.
All the holiday homes are modern and connected to the mains services. They have a fully fitted kitchen with a gas cooker and fridge. Bathrooms have a hand basin, flush toilet and shower and larger models often have an additional en-suite bathroom as well. In the lounge there is gas fire, some models also have gas central heating or electric panel heaters.
Outside decking on most caravans gives you additional space and allows you to sit and enjoy the warm weather, just relax with a drink or a good book. All caravans have one parking space adjacent to them. We request that additional car parked by the office once unloaded.
We ask you to keep your caravan well maintained and the decking clean and tidy.
Other things to Note
- Dogs have to be on leads around the park
- The swimming pool is open from April until 31st October. We do not allow lone swimmers or children under the age of 16 to be unaccompanied as there is not lifeguard on duty.
Here are the costs associated with having a caravan. We try to keep costs easy to understand and affordable for you.
Site Fees – we call this ground rent. Paid annually and due by 1st March each year.
Use of the swimming pool and the park’s facilities – included in the ground rent.
Gas Safety Check – included in your ground rent
Local Authority Council Rates – included in your ground rent.
Water and sewerage – included in your ground rent
Gas – for hot water and heating. Bottled Calor propane gas is fitted. Two 19kg bottles are included in the purchase price (at least one will be full). Park wardens check gas weekly and change when empty. Pay as you go or you will receive an end of season bill, due by 30th November. Current price RRP is £31 per bottle.
Electric – metered and included in your end of season invoice.
Insurance – is mandatory for the cost of repairing or replacing the caravan or contents if damaged – we have a company for you to organise this with or you can arrange your own but we charge an admin fee. Insurance premiums range from £170 – £450 depending on the replacement value of a the caravan.
Sub-letting – we do not offer subletting.
Winterisation i.e end of season water drainage. We drain your caravan for you at the end of the season to prevent frost damage (usually by November 30th) and reconnect in the Spring. If you wish to use your caravan after this date there will be a charge to re-connect and re-drain. Please ask for details.

Term – The number of seasons the caravan can remain on our park from the date of purchase.
Ground Rent – Covers March 2021 to January 2022 (the park is fully closed between 7th January and 1st March)
Band A+ – £2,930.00 inc VAT Holiday Caravans over 400 square feet
Band A – £2,640.00 inc VAT Holiday Caravans over 340 square feet
Band B – £2,460.00 inc VAT Holiday Caravans up to 339 square feet
Ground rent is inclusive of rates, water and annual gas safety check. Gas and electric are metred and billed annually.
Insurance – Premiums range from £190 – £450 depending on the replacement value of a particular caravan. Details on request.
Purchase of the above holiday homes can be secured with a 10% deposit.
