Devons Best Touring Motorhome Static Caravan Camping DOG FRIENDLY Andrewshayes Holiday Park
Dog friendly camping at Andrewshayes

Many of our visitors return to us year after year as they know we are a dog-friendly holiday park

We know that being able to take your dog on holiday with you is really important to many people.  Touring or camping with your dog can be great fun and we also have luxury dog friendly static holiday homes to hire.

Dogs are allowed on leads throughout the park as well as in the bar. We have a dedicated dog exercise area where there is plenty of space for ball throwing and fun.  Opposite the park entrance we have our own woodland walk which is also a fabulous space for exercising your dog.

Local Walks

Off site there are numerous local places that are perfect for dog walks such as Shute Woods. This is just the other side of the main A35 so you can walk  there from the park. There’s an easy route through these woods to Kilmington via an old Roman Road, a pretty village where you can stop for refreshments at the pub and head back, 1 1/2 miles each way.

Click here for a few more ideas of local places to walk your dog such as Lambert’s Castle or Trinity Hill, just a short drive away. Also take a look at the Flip flops or Wellies blog for other general walking ideas and routes.

Most of our local beaches have a dog friendly areas allocated all year round.   Our dog owning wardens will be able to help you with all your dog related queries.

Eating Out

For eating out many local pubs are happy for you to take your dog – here’s a few that we know about.

Days Out

Of course, the last thing you want to do is leave your dog in a caravan all day. Luckily many local attractions are also dog friendly. Take a look at these ideas for dog friendly days out.

If you do want to leave your dog for any length of time then please ask in reception about local dog sitters or dog walkers.
