The Ploughman’s Bar, Restaurant and Takeaway will be open every Friday and Saturday evening from 5pm throughout the season and extra evenings during the main state school holidays.

On some nights the menu may be reduced or food will be available from a pop up street food provider.

The bar and restaurant are both family and dog friendly.

Ploughman’s Bar Opening Dates

Indulge in great home cooked food and refreshing drinks at Ploughman’s Bar, available from the end of March to the end of October. Join us every Friday and Saturday from 5pm until 11pm, with our kitchen serving up freshly cooked family favourites from 5:30pm. Please note, the last orders for food will be taken at 8:30pm.

Extended Opening During State School Holidays

To accommodate our guests during the school holidays, The Ploughman’s Bar will open on additional days from 5pm to 10pm or 11pm if busy. Check here to see full details. 

There is a bus stop 500 meters from the park. It is the Stagecoach 4a service from Exeter to Axminster which runs every 2 hours.

As the seagull flies we are 6 miles from the coast. 

We are close to a number of popular breaches, it is approximately a 20 minute drive to Seaton, Lyme Regis and Charmouth. 

8am – 8pm each day or until dusk (during the Spring and Autumn it closes earlier). 8am –  9am is reserved for adults only.

For Touring & Camping arrival is from 12 noon, check out by 10.30am. 

Due to the siting by wardens of touring caravans, we reserve the right to turn away touring pitch arrivals after 9 pm or after dark unless by prior arrangement. Late arrivals may be required to park overnight next to reception. For the consideration of other guests tents are not to be pitched after 9.30pm. Please note security barriers may also be down if arriving late.

A late departure may be available outside of the high season and dependent on bookings at a cost of £15, please ask at reception 

For our static caravan holidays, Check-in is available from 3.30 pm and Check-out is by 9:30 am.

The opening dates vary slightly each year.  The approximate dates are are the third week in March to the last weekend in October. 

Yes, open every day 9am – 5pm selling a range of basic items including food, drink, sweets and toys.

Yes, a small number of friends or family can visit for the day only (up to 6) and are required to sign in at reception. Due to our insurance only paying guests are allowed to use the swimming pool and we do not offer a day pass for the pool. For any additional persons wishing to stay overnight this may be possible but they would need to be paid for. 

Yes but BBQs must be kept off the grass or decking – slabs are available on request at Reception.

There is no charge for the wireless internet. It is included in the price of your booking.

Yes, a maximum of two dogs per pitch or Static caravan.

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask that campfires and fire pits are not used during your stay.

You may use a BBQ but request you use a slab underneath with a traditional BBQ to ensure grass or pitch astro-turf is not scorched. 

To ensure the safety of all our guests, we kindly request that only mobility scooters and traditional kids’ scooters are used on-site. Unfortunately, electric scooters and hoverboards aren’t permitted. Speed limits must be obeyed. The park takes no responsibility for accidents if children are not supervised using bikes and scooters.

We’re happy to let you know that there’s absolutely no additional charge for bringing your awning, it is included in your pitch fee along with the electric hook-up. 

Yes, you’re welcome to request a specific pitch and we’ll do our very best to accommodate it. While we can’t guarantee availability 100%, rest assured we’ll make every effort to find you the perfect spot for your stay.

Yes, all our pitches come with a free 10amp electric hook-up, perfect for keeping your camping essentials powered. It’s not the same as a domestic supply so you’ll need special low watt items or use one thing at a time. To connect you need a 12-amp electric hook up lead and plug adaptor if you are camping. Please note that we don’t permit electric vehicle charging from the hook-ups on our touring and tent pitches or from static caravans. If you do need to charge your EV, we have three dedicated charging points on-site for your convenience. If any charging is done from the hook-ups, a £25 excess payment charge will apply.

Yes, our park offers accessible facilities, including a fully equipped wet room, to ensure a comfortable stay for all our guests. Most areas of the park are accessible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and pushchairs. While the park is situated on a gentle slope, we’ve done our best to make sure everyone can enjoy the beautiful surroundings. If you have any specific needs or questions, we’re here to assist and make your stay as enjoyable as possible!

Yes, we’re pleased to offer storage facilities at Andrewshayes for both touring caravans, with the added convenience of a tow-in, tow-out service. Storage is available at £55 per month, paid in advance in 6-month blocks. There is an additional charge to be towed out.

Yes, we’re delighted to offer 110 fully serviced seasonal pitches at Andrewshayes. This allows you to keep your caravan sited with its awning for the entire season, so you can relax and enjoy your holidays without the hassle of towing. It’s the perfect way to make the most of your summer!

For our static holiday caravans on the main park and the Orchard Retreat, check-in is available from 3:30 pm, allowing you plenty of time to settle in and start enjoying your stay. You are welcome to use the facilities if you arrive early and there is a Starbucks coffee shop 500 meters from the park that you can walk or drive to. 

Check-out is by 9:30 am, so we can thoroughly prepare the caravan for the next guests to enjoy their holiday.

Yes, we provide bedding in all our holiday caravans.

For our Orchard Retreat, Oak and VIP models we’re pleased to let you know that your beds will be made up and ready for you, bath towels are also provided so you can start relaxing the moment you arrive!

Bedding is provided in Beech models but not made up but you need to bring your own towels.  

For all stays we ask you to bring your own beach / pool towels. 

Yes we now three electric vehicle charging points on-site. If you’re in no rush and prefer to charge overnight, we have two convenient 7kWh overnight chargers. For a quicker top-up before heading to the beach, we also offer a 22 kWh medium-fast charger from Rolec. Both options are easy to use with the Monta Charge app. The unit rate is 55p. 

Please note that we don’t permit charging from electric hook-up points on our touring and tent pitches or from static caravans. If charging is done this way, a £25 excess payment charge will apply.

We do allow supermarket deliveries to the park. However please note that the barriers are closed at 5pm,  so after this time we recommend you arrange to meet a delivery van in the carpark as the vans will not fit under the barriers. We have a small shop on site and our local Tesco is just a short drive away in Axminster.

We have a barrier system to both of our touring and camping fields that does restrict high vehicles such as transit vans and motorhomes.
